My favorite "only" hobby is fishing but if I had to use a pocket fisherman I would consider 1000 piece puzzles or ?

Tsurinoya makes a 4 piece UL/L travel rod called the PARTNER. I have one. 6'3" and it comes with two tips, tubular and solid. Have hardly fished it, so can't comment on how it performs. Bought it for travel. I also like wading small streams and have been weighing the benefits of 4 piece vs. telescopic. I think telescopic better suits my needs because you can quickly collapse it, leaving it rigged and ready. Just haven't decided on the right rod yet. Want it to be capable of casting Trout Magnets.

I have the same thoughts. It sure seems like a telescopic rod could be collapsed and extended very quickly. This would be handy when wading stream where some travel through dense brush and trees is needed. I am a little worried about the durability of this type of rod though.
