    Default Tiger fish

I always wanted to go ketch some in Africa , but you know what ?
I found me one right here in Texas
in 16 foot of water ,flat on the bottom with a herd of crappie and hit it like a 10 lb black bass he did .
and tried to SWALLOW a 3 inch long big fish bait .
and put up a fair struggle for his size as well .
the second photo is where I was working on getting back my big jig
    Go figure

Cute little dude! I used to get frustrated when green carp fishing and would get repeated bites in one spot on a 6 or 8 inch Texas rigged worm and could never get the hook in 'em. One time I finally threw something smaller as a follow-up and pulled out a warmouth. Now I know just to move on if I get a couple of thumps with no hook set.

I am often amazed at the size of bait they will hit, sometime it is almost as big as they are. On the other hand I am amazed at how small a bait some big ones will hit like the bass I caught earlier in the week on a 1/32 oz roadrunner.
