Default 100 Bluegill on 2018 Fine Tail SUL Rod.

Had a great day below Nickajack Dam catching over 100 Gills......around 50 at the 8-8.5 inch mark. Sat on same spot to catch all fish except for the KY spot. Fish were is 21 feet of water hugging the bottom. Used a 1.5 and 2 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head with a Bison and Sow Bug colored Trout Magnet. The rod of course was the New Fine Tail Area Stage 6’ 3” super ultra light. It was all about fun today. Life is good!

    Regards

I can not wait to try that rod out up here on Barkley. If it performs as well as I think it will, I'll probably buy another one. I think it would be the perfect shellcracker/bluegill rod, and probably decent on the crappie, too!

Your top picture looks like a big ole female redear!
