I caught this one yesterday in my home lake. It was almost 10” and weighed .8.

I used to have one lake where I could find them often and then all of the sudden they went away . it was far south of town and I hear tell they run in cycles in some spots with good numbers for a year or so and then go away for some reason in this part of texas ?

Sounds reasonable. Lots of things in nature seem to be that way
