Both. They're basically the exact same type of eating as sunfish. They just get a little bigger. Florida has so many exotics in their waters it's ridiculous and way too late to do anything about them. They actually have many species like the Mayan and jaguar cichlid listed as "nonnative" instead of "invasive". It's my understanding that anything listed as "invasive" can't be thrown back, but the "nonnatives" are allowed to be thrown back.
