I've had good service from my TSS. I bought it this year and wasn't abusive but it seemed to hold up well for the summer season. It is a tough rod. As a wade fisherman I have to be careful and not hoist any of the fish out of the water. I slide them in and then run my hand down the line and lift the line. I want to get a small net for wading but have not found a nice light, small sized one that I can carry. I currently use 4lb Stren Crappie, but will be moving down to a 3lb true mono on the rod I have in mind. I would contact Jeff at TM and speak to him. AH mentioned that Leland is dropping the rod and 2020 will see B'N'M selling the rod. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Thanks Pro V thanked you for this post

Just order one off the website and be done with it.

Hmm, don’t know but I would try again. Maybe suggest what you mentioned about top section. It’s my favorite rod as well.

Unfortunately, they don’t sell tips on line nor can I find a way to handle this via email. Just to be clear, when I called I politely identified myself and said I had just purchased the rod and offered the order number and asked about a warranty process. I’ve described the reaction with no further detail. I’m very easy to get along with and would have paid the $10 every day of the week. Guess I’ll try Jeff per BobC tomorrow. I’m hoping to report a better conversation. Love the product.

Yeah I called and asked about top section really thinking he would have to get new rod but the lady said they did have them but not on website. Only way was call and order. Hopefully this gets taken care of to your satisfaction. Hate this for you Steve. Let us know.

I meant "order a whole new rod". Send the broken one back in the box it comes in with a note explaining what happened.

Just to put this into perspective, I caught this stripper on a BnM sharp shooter with 4lb test and a 1/32 oz jig. That rod broke about a year later. I then just bought 2 more thinking. The broken rod deserved a rest.
I’ll figure it out and I’ll buy a couple more. I’m a tackle junkie so probably need 20 or 100 more rods and another ton of plastic.
    Thanks for the comments.

Keep us posted on what happens I am looking at purchasing the same rod based on Alphahawk's review and other recommendations on this site.

I ordered another this morning. I love the rod. I looked closer at the broken tip and looks like a clean break. I’ll end up with two of them. I’d highly recommend. Just hope the new one lasts longer and can get the other one fixed.
