    Default JDM trolling replacements @ LP 09 18 19

Picked up 2 inexpensive JDM rods to replace recent breakages. A Daiwa Mebaring X 74UL-S and a Major Craft Crostage Mebaru CRX-S732UL, both worked out well. I should have got the S76UL Crostage. It's a light rod that you can cast jigs well with. Got both rods from Asianportal, free shipping, and it took a week. Have a SHIMANO 19 Salty Advance MEBARU S76UL coming from express-japan.

Great looking fish, break those new rods in correctly out there. I bet those Gills fight much better than a Horse Mackerel/Red Rockfish!

From the videos I've watched on youtube - the CNBG got them beat. You want to see something crazy - check out Iso fishing in Japan...

Looks like those rods work just fine Sonny.

Nice looking rods looks like you broke them in right! Give us a review and tell us how you like them. Looks like they are very reasonable for JDM.

Everybody likes new toys, and those look nice. I don’t think the fish are happy though. Some great fish. Sad that this is as close as I get to them for a while.

    Thnx again guys
I'd like to get into the higher end rods - if what I'm doing - wasn't so brutal on tackle. It'll get done, one of these days, Tim.
