    Default 7 foot UL

Is anyone aware of a reasonably priced (less than 50.00) one piece 7 foot UL rod?

I just bought an Ugly Stick GX2. They come in 6.5 & 7' models. Some 2 pc some 1 piece. I just bought one. Mine is 6.5 but they make a 7' one piece ultralight. Pretty decent rod for the money. $40.00

Or step up to the Elite model. They go for $50.

That will greatly reduce your options.

Alphahawk rates the 6'6" Trout Slayer Series real high I plan to try one soon. I have a Lew's Wally Marshall Signature Series that is around $50 and a one piece and it is currently my favorite rod.

The Trout Slayer is a great rod for the money. BnM will start selling that rod in 2020 I think for 69 bucks. The rod is very sensitive. But if you are one who boat lifts fish it is not for you. The rod has a high graphite content but it can handle big fish no problems. Just curious why you want a one piece?

    Regards

I have a Shakesphere MicroLite 7ft UL rod but its 2 piece. Lots of fun for bluegill though. Best part I think it was about $20 at Dicks Sporting Goods.

To my understanding no. The name of the rod will change to Leland’s TCB rod...Trout Crappie Bluegill. Trout Magnet has sold an UL rod for years.....mainly as a nicety for Trout Magnet customers. It has never been a money maker for them. I was really impressed with the rod when I field tested it.....only weighs 2.4 ounces. I know quite a few JDM rod owners that use this rod when they are in an area they worry about breaking one of their high dollar rods....my nephew is one of those. I will get a few of the rods in 2020 and give them away on my YouTube channel.

    Regards

That’s good I got one. I’ll tell Blake “Two dog” he needs to get one. I didn’t get out this weekend cause of a client in real bad shape and headed to Canada on Thursday. We will get out mid September
