Fun times for sure!
The bluegill did not want to play today...but the KY bass and largemouth did. Caught several dozen fish today using the Palms Egeria 6’ 4” Xtra Ultra Light Rod. While not as sensitive as my other area trout rods it is certainly a ton of fun on smaller fish.....even more so than the Super Ultra Light. Not sure where the bluegill are hiding at but will get up in the morning and make the 95 mile drive to Laurel Hill Lake to see if the northern strain/copper nose mix want to play. Life is good!

Fun times for sure!
Get 'em on trout magnets?
Oh...yeah.....forgot to mention that. Bison didn’t attract much today but that gray and white Sow Bug worked. Will try the Bison again in the morning on the bluegill at Laurel Hill.

Good catch, I really enjoy battling the KY Bass also, Cherokee is full of them. They are pulling the water from our lakes fast now, hard to find the Gills up here also. Good luck at the Hill.
Spotted Bass are a blast to catch. Thanks for sharing.

excellent report & catch
Good catch Randy, good to see that you’re over your mobility issues enough to get some water time in.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Alpha buddy .... that second picture Spotted Bass would be fun on any action rod
Makes me want to put my Zero Gravity rod back into service on some Fall slabs
I love spots , I am not sure if there is a bass a like more than a spot . the others are nice and fight well , but I think a spot has the best fight . they like to get air here and pull like trains and really never do give it up even when its hot outside .
nice photos bro and congrats
