    Default Used my head today.

Hit Nickajack again....but this time only stayed 3 hours and was out of there at 11:00 a.m. with boat on the trailer. It was 96 degrees when I left. I caught a lot fish today......more bluegill than KY bass...since I...and many folks I know eat KY bass I consider them a Panfish. They were not the quality fish I usually catch there this time of year but when you’re fishing with a Super Ultra Light rod using 2.1# test ester mono just about any fish is a quality fish with that setup. Sow Bug colored Trout Magnet was lure of choice. Taking a break tomorrow and fishing with son on Wednesday. Life is good!

    Regards

Hot here also, not 96 but warm enough. The first two pictures, Ky and the Gill look pretty nice to me. Have you tried the Sunline UV Ester? I have it on the Presso LTD 1003 and really like it. Have not tried a night foray with it under the black lights though, just never could get the time to go at the right time, if that makes sense.

I have tried it....and it does manage better than the Varivas.....casts like a dream......but......I can’t see it....LOL. I thought it would fluoresce more in the sun than it does. I have it on my Presso Limited also. I’ll keep it on there for a while. I found a new spot for Gills today.....well not new really just never fished it much. It holds a lot of fish and I will hit it up more.

    Regards

You've mentioned that one before. Are you moving away from your beloved bison?

No......going to break it back out Wednesday when my son and I go. Also put up the super ultra light and will be taking the XUL along as the fun rod for a while also. Using it with Bison should hopefully land me some bluegill.
