a change up ?

the river sunfish moved out away from the bank last week ?
I saw a big water snake laying with its head in a bed by the bank .
I don't know if that's what made em go deeper or if it was the sun or the moon or the heat or the stars or the barometer or the wind or exactly what but I struggled to ketch 15 or 20 in an hour when it should have been 50
had to fish about 3 foot deep under my float instead of 1 and had to pitch it about 15 feet off the bank instead of 2 .
the rest of the fish that didn't make the editors illustration cuts were small geenies and bluegill

such is bank fishing in the summer I suppose

Nice day for sure. Jacob and I visited a creek this morning and got skunked! We threw every artificial lure at the we had and only had a few missed bites. The creek was up a little and the water was a little turbid. That’s what we are blaming it on anyway! Ha ha ha!
