    Beauties! Those longear have a slightly different coloration than what I see around here. A couple of them look like that may be a hybrid species or had a parent that was a hybrid.

    Truly some of the prettiest fish ever. I would be useless with something such as that close by.

    I often wonder myself as they do seem to vary quite a bit on coloration . one thing for certain I don't ketch many female fish of any of the sunfish species in the river as I don't target them in that spot , and that said I don't know if they would vary as well ….
