    Default 5 minutes

I had all of 5 minutes to fish today while waiting to pick up food. Had a rod rigged up with a trout magnet and caught this little redbreast. Pretty specimen for sure.

I got one of those in my aquarium. They are rather aggressive to other other fish. Good fighters while on the line too.

A great way to pass a few minutes for sure. We have fishing water all over Minneapolis; so I keep a couple of rods in the back seat rigged for casting and an ice rod rigged for jigging docks, all with plastic tails of one sort or another and a full box of a variety of plastics besides. No better way to take a break when running errands. I have stopped fishing on my way home from the supermarket though. I got into a hot bite and before I knew it the ice cream had melted all over the trunk!

That is why you want to take a cooler along, to put freezer stuff in.

I agree, good way to spend a few minutes and them little dudes are aggressive. Seems like they try to take the rod out of your hand.
