    Default Bluegill specific tackle box/bag

I was wanting to fix up a bluegill specific tackle box/bag as many of the ponds we fish require a walk and not wanting to lug any more than I need to. Any pics or descriptions of what some of you might have in your bluegill boxes?

I fish a lot of similar areas, and I do not carry a tackle box. I wear a light fly vest and carry a few small fly boxes or Plano utility boxes.

A lightweight backpack will allow you to carry other items that help with the the hike. Like water, sunblock, ThermaCell, fish bag, parka, hand towel, etc., as well as a variety of necessary tackle.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

I have a tackle box set up just for bluegill fishing, but I don't show it online.

I don't have any photos handy, but mine has: hemostats for hook removal, jigheads in 1/64, 1/32, and 1/16th oz., small plastics of many sorts (beetles, tubes, curly tails, trout magnets, etc.) in many colors, bobbers in many sizes with most being the weighted styrofoam kind, small spinners, small crankbaits, split shot in BB and larger, hooks in size 8 for bream and 4 for crappie, a couple varieties of Gulp or PowerBait type baits, and a few wet flies to fish under a bobber with a small split shot. All of that, but my actual bream fishing is split between 50% 1/64th oz jigs (beetles/trout magnets) for catch and release, or 40% live bait fishing with the wife and kids (crickets/wax worms) for supper, with the rest of the tackle comprising the last 10%. If I wanted a real compact kit, I'd just take the jig heads, black beetles and bison/bulldog trout magnets and a few bobbers or justs the hooks, split shot, and bobbers with live bait.

    Sounds a lot like mine!
