Finally got a couple Lake Perris bluegill
Went out last Saturday with my 8 year old. He has been wanting to catch some more bluegill since we got some last November. Well he finally did, we were fishing on top of the sunken island he was using a little black and chartreuse tube and he ended up with 2 decent ones and a small bass. I picked up a little one on a white grub. We tried some trolling with the underspins and picked up 1 bass with a bunch of grass on it. Ended up just getting the 3 bluegill but about 15 bass with the biggest at about 4.5lbs, a few of the bass were caught while vertical jigging for what i thought were schools of pan fish.

Good deal, those are some pretty fish. Nothing wrong with sticking the green ones either, they put a pull on the line just fine!!
