A very good morning with those numbers. A good bunch of fillets for sure. I used my fly rod this morning with a bead head nymph looking #10 or so, black with some rabbit hair I think. I didn’t tie it but the fish liked it. Gotta try a maggot or waxie next time out. Thanks for educating me on what you use, that helped. Now go back out and get some more.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I woke up this morning to a phone call from my in laws. Seems like a downburst/tornado came over their place in the middle of the night and knocked down/ twisted off 3 trees in their yard, one falling on the house. I spent the day on the business end of a Stihl chainsaw clearing brush and limbs off the house while my tree guy climbed and cut the hard parts. Name: IMG_4615.jpg

No one was hurt but man am I beat. Power was just restored and we all will sleep good tonight. On the up side, plenty of Hickory and Oak firewood for next winter.

Bad deal there Stan, glad no one was hurt. You guys have gotten some bad weather this year. Hope it gets better soon. It’s a shame you couldn’t get that hickory to a sawmill, very pretty stuff.
