I enjoy what people catch/post and hopefully learn something. Everyone's experiences are different and those experiences should always be shared.
Know how you feel ---- someday (we -- you -- I) might be able to join em and be proud of our catch.
But for wife and I medium size bream (bluegill) scaled and fried whole potato chip tails are better than the larger ones.

Fish for the fish that are in your waters. Keep or release or photograph or any combination thereof, always the choice for the fisherman but what we all have in common no matter what state or species is the pleasure of the pursuit. Once or twice a week I look through all the State boards to see what others are catching and it makes me want to get out even more and catch my local fish, and yes photograph and report. The smartphone, the CDCom App and the most family friendly website on the internet (this one) all have contributed to the sharing of fishing reports and pictures, even if it is a skunked trip or 12in Cricket Cruncher. Post Panfish Pics, we like em all!
Definitely post those pictures showing the lure used attached to the fish's lip. Amazing the information a photo can display which is the reason that most of my posts include photo proof of ideas and suggestions I post. Plus, if you keep a folder on your PC that holds photos of your catches, it serves as your personal fishing log you can refer to showing water fished, date fished, lure and line used, quality and quantity, shoreline location, sonar shots and maybe some impressive scenic shots.
It's not the quality of fish caught but the way you caught fish that I'm interested in. This is the kind of stuff we share on Crappie.com and is much appreciated by experienced as well as inexperienced anglers. New ideas are always welcome ! (unlike another forum that blasted my ideas regarding lure design)
Just do it, We all like to see pics.
As others have said.......you can only catch what is in the waters you’re fishing. So post away.

I appreciate it when anyone takes the time to post pictures and enjoy looking at all of them. I'm envious that you go fishing much more often than I do, but I like the photos that you post!
