Beautiful fish!

I know it is a big lake, but do you ever recognize any of your fish as repeat catches? Just curious. When I used to bass fish a lot as a young man I would occasionally re-catch one with recognizable features. Sometimes in the same spot, sometimes in a completely different part of the lake. I haven't noticed it with panfish since I usually only release the really big ones (which aren't usually even the size of your photo subjects!) or those too small to fillet. I really only get out to fish 2 to 4 times a year these days with all of the other family activities going on.

Another odd day. Level back up and the water temp dropped to 68.4*F. Got to the lake a little late - had to see the ending of my Kung-fu movie. Leaving the marina I caught the ire of a bass guy because I wasn't obeying the speed limit. Just laughed to myself - started already - didn't even acknowledge him (probably got him madder). Not too much pressure and I decided to hit the spot I finished with on the last trip. Marked it and started to catch some nice fish. Bass guy comes over and parks right in front of me. Went over to talk to Darrion - he was fishing for Crappie. got back on the troll, headed for "road bed" and BINGO found big 10s stacked up in 15 to 24 FOW. Couldn't leave this area with so many quality fish. And I didn't lose any jigs today!!!!!

It's the 90% of bass guys that give the other 10% a bad reputation.

I had a little better evening as far as boat traffic goes, only saw one boat fishing near me and the young gentleman seemed more interested in his female companion than he did the Bass. The yellowish patch on the tail of a lot of your fish caught my eye this morning, and looking back at my pics from last night, a couple of mine had the same coloration. Breeding attire I assume, just another reason I like catching these little fighters, they are a palette of color.
