    Default Tough day.

The bluegill did not want to play today. But I had one that stood out...only 8.5 inches in length but had a girth of 9 inches. These are the kind I’m hoping to get on soon. The day wasn’t a bust though...had over 5 dozen crappie 12-13 inches.

Those crappie were stacked on a tree trunk. I fished the Fine Tail Banshee Area Trout Rod 6’ 7” hoping to get into a bunch of bluegill. But it is great for crappie also.

A good day for Crappie, and that is a nice bluegill for Tennessee standards. I gazed out of my window all day long thinking about those darn Panfish. Video coming?

Yeah....going to put out new video. Of course it will look the same as past videos from that spot. Amazing how many crappie can stack up there. They will leave in a couple of weeks but be back in same spot July-August. Going back on Wednesday hoping to find that the bluegill are bedding somewhere. I'll take bluegill like the one I got today all day long. No sign at all of bedding shellcracker or redbreast either.

that finetail banshee is seeing a lot of playtime lately... does it have more of a parabolic bend than say the tict rockin finesse?

Probably close to the same. I really like using it for bluegill. I like the 6' 7" length. I have so many rods I need to test out further....only so much time...LOL.
