    only one of these.

People make too much fuss over what rod and reel. What boat etc. Just get a cheap rod and reel and go grab a few beetle spins and have some fun.

This sure brings back memories from my childhood in the 60's. Used to have a black/yellow beetle spin on one rod and a white with a red spot on the other and caught lot's of gills and bass. They certainly were responsible for fueling my lifetime love of fishing.

Lately I have lost my confidence in beetle spins and I don’t know why. I have done really well well them in the past but seems like they don’t produce like they used too. That being said I bought a lot of them last spring I think your post warrants a one lure challenge using only beetle spins especially black ones. Very nice catches and too true about how easy it is to have fun fishing with whatever you have at hand.
