    Default PB redbreast on video.

There are some nice bluegill in the video...just have to wade through the crappie. The Fine Tail Banshee Area Trout Rod makes a great bluegill and crappie rod. Can’t say enough good things about the polyester line for this setup. And the Daiwa Gekkabijin jig heads.....they’re simply off the charts good.

    Regards

Epic day for sure, never seen a Redbreast that big in person. I caught a small one a couple days ago and they definitely have a fight to them.

I wish they were in lakes closer to me. Nickajack has a ton of them and I catch a lot in the 7-8 inch range. Of course when they get right up in the lake I will use the super UL or the XUL and have a lot of fun with them. They for sure have an attitude to them. Remind me of a shell cracker fight. Are you getting all this high wind over your way?

    Regards

Not yet, our morning was calm and beautiful. I know those Crappie are on the nest right now, posted a trip from last night over on the TN board. WORK today, Grandbabies are coming tonight then the weather is supposed to head South for the long weekend. Oh well, cannot control Mother Nature.

I have one river that’s pretty close to me that is full of red breast... I can’t wait until summer time to put a hurting on them with the 6’1” corto. They are truely gorgeous fish and super aggressive... makes for a lot of fun wading the river. Nice redbreast you caught for sure. Those crappie would have made me happy as well!
