Thread: First time out this year:(

Well finally made it out and what I have known for some time seems to be the new reality. I have been fighting health issues now for a few years, actually sold my jet drive boat a couple of years ago because of my health.

Got a little better and jumped back in with both feet, guess I thought if I stayed positive I could keep on keepin on but today has proven that for me I just cannot pull it off anymore to make it feel worthwhile.

I sort of already knew it (even to the point of not spooling up my new reels or using my new JDM rods) but had to try. Well I got my answer and unfortunately will be giving up fishing something I have tried very hard to hold on to.

So I will be putting up for sale a brand new never used '18 CORTO GCRTS-6102L-HS and a brand new never used Major Craft Triple Cross TCX S732AJI rods for sale soon.

I will also be offering up for sale 2 brand new never used in the box (model prior to the current one) DIAWA Exist reels one size 1025 and one size 2003F-H.

Thought I would mention the JDM rods and reels here as most on this board that have an interest in these frequent these threads and I would like them to get a good home.

I also just got in a bunch of the Diawa jdm jigs in in assorted weights and sizes and some in both colors. I did use one today so 1 pack is one short and yes those suckers are sharp! I will sell those all together as a complete lot only.

Will be selling my boat a 14ft lowe mod v jon as well, shame really as it went through some extensive upgrades last year such as a new Minn Kota Terrova spot lock trolling motor and a Helix 9 gn2 SI, 3 new grp31 and 1 new grp 27 batteries and I spent a lot of dollars on it and added a lot more. I will hate to see it go but sometimes you need to be realistic.

I will still be hanging around and if you are interested in the rods or reels let me know. I will not be doing a fire sale as this stuff is all brand new but I will listen to offers. You guys enjoy your time on the water and have fun and be safe!

I don’t know what to say, but I have a lot of thoughts on your post. Sorry to hear this news. Had a similar decision some months back, fortunately I’ve bounced back for now. I’m hoping that you get to enjoy your passion for a while longer, and know that myself and others will be thinking of you. God Bless.......
