Dale Hollow....but on that lake in June in a kayak. I don’t know.....lot of pleasure boaters. But it has both specie you’re looking for, and big ones at that and plenty of them.

My wife and I are wanting to plan a early June weekend fishing trip. We fish from our kayaks and limit ourselves as to how far we paddle, but was curious as to some of the best lakes that big gills/shell cracker call home. We live in the Cookeville TN area and will travel 3 hours or so for good fishing. Thanks for any information members can chime in with.
