Couple of float tube guys are getting a few nice fish closer toward shore. 10-15 FOW. Fishing the trees and brush near Bernasconi with jigs w/plastic tails.

Pretty fish. Low 30’s drove the gills out of the shallows here in Mid TN.

    Regards

I'm really excited to be going out there next week with a chance to tangle with some of these bruisers. Stocking up my jig boxes now with plenty of duck feather jigs and others with glow eyes which I think makes a huge difference in deeper water. Lot's of these fish have jigs with glow eyes hanging from their face.

I’m always impressed with the difference in colors from here to there. I’m guessing visibility is very different too. Nice fish, and I would have enjoyed a couple of bouts with them too Jim, but life has a habit of getting in the way. Y’all do well when it all comes together.

PB - Tu's buddies were catching BGs and Crappie back in the east end - same depth
Ah - hate when that happens
Tim - we get some puples too (not enough). The color variations are crazy - lots of fish all look the same - then you have the Coppernose... Who knows - genes, water, food - I'm just glad I can see it @ LP. Hope everything is fine for next year...

Lot's of gadwall flank feathers were used to make most of these, got some ordered but don't think they will make it here on time. Like the black/ fl.green autos and might make some of those yet. Pink and white were good at Havasu last time. If this is a recent picture you look stocked up for now. Amazed how a few boxes is all you need to catch all of those gills.
