    Default Epic day.

Had a fantastic day fishing Nickajack tailrace yesterday. I stayed on the water for 8.5 hours.....haven’t done that it a long time. Over 200 fish caught total......50 of those were shell cracker and 100 of those were 8-8.5 inch bluegill with an 8 inch girth. The other 50 fish caught were bass....spotted bass.....white bass.....crappie. I have 4 hours of video to edit.....LOL. Here is a pic I pulled off the video of one of the shell cracker. They ranged in size from 8-11 inches. Life is good!

Great catch. At work yesterday I could not keep my mind from wandering out on the lake, and looking through the office window at the Dogwoods and Redbuds in bloom, I knew it would be a great day to be on the water. Cannot wait to see the video. Keep them coming.

Nice redear, haven't caught any bigger ones yet here but hope they start soon. 8-9 inch gills can really pull. Consider the redear juveniles until they hit 10 inches.
