    Default Lemonade out of lemons.

Been chasing trout and having a ball. The trout didn’t cooperate today but the black perch did. Lost count of those little rascals....sure fun on the Finezza Prototype UL. Decent fight in the current.....oh I did get 1 good trout on the super UL.

    Regards

Those perch look cool. I have never caught one up here in E TN. I heard you say in one of your videos they are good eating, like a bluegill maybe? Firm flesh or flaky?

Oh....they’re really good....I think better than bluegill. Fishing Dale Hollow in the morning and they are prolific in there....and big....around 10 inches. The only problem, I’m taking my nephew and he wants to only fish for Smallies. So can’t concentrate on Panfish. But if I get on some shell cracker while we’re up there I ain’t moving the boat.....LOL.

    Regards

Trout are great UL fish. As one of my mentors taught me, though, "catch what's in front of you".

If your target species has lockjaw, you can almost always count on something else to put a bend in your rod.
