Those perch look cool. I have never caught one up here in E TN. I heard you say in one of your videos they are good eating, like a bluegill maybe? Firm flesh or flaky?
Been chasing trout and having a ball. The trout didn’t cooperate today but the black perch did. Lost count of those little rascals....sure fun on the Finezza Prototype UL. Decent fight in the current.....oh I did get 1 good trout on the super UL.

Oh....they’re really good....I think better than bluegill. Fishing Dale Hollow in the morning and they are prolific in there....and big....around 10 inches. The only problem, I’m taking my nephew and he wants to only fish for Smallies. So can’t concentrate on Panfish. But if I get on some shell cracker while we’re up there I ain’t moving the boat.....LOL.

I would consider you the winner,much better eating than the trout,imho.
