I often lurk here but rarely contribute so here goes. Needed some fishing time with my wife but this time of the year for me means pushing or pulling jigs and she doesn't really care for it. Was fishing hair jigs or Aberdeen's with red worms. Fishing 11-14 fow bouncing the bottom in a spot where I had caught smaller blue gill 2 years ago dropshoting night crawlers. Took 2 hours to find em which left 2 hours to catch before the kids needed picking up. All fish we're released.Attachment 331279

I had been reading y'all's post wondering if I could could kinda replicate it. It was weird considering the talk in the Aberdeen vs jig hook thread. The two fish caught on an aberdeen I had to cut the line they were hooked so deep.

Good job! I love chasing those gills/ crackers
Too blessed to be stressed!
Got really bored with the rain. 1/32 oz with #4 with buck tail and a few strands of fish hare. Getting ready for next trip.
