I have almost completely switched over to small jigs instead of plain hooks.

It's almost impossible for the fish to take a jig so deep you can't remove it.

I use the gold light wire Aberdeen hooks. I have eagle claw ones. I like that they have a longer shank and have had good luck with them

I don’t think I even have any hooks. As Disco mentioned.......I just use jig heads......if I decide to use live bait......which is extremely rare. I use .5 gram jig heads all the way up to 3 gram in 1/2 gram increments. I have them in hook sized #10......#8.......#6.........#4.

    Regards

The 1/64 oz trout magnet is a great bait. 1/32 oz jigs work well, also.

For live bait I use either Tru Turn #6 or owner Mosquito Hook #6. But mostly use a 1/32 or 1/64oz jighead with a small tube or same size hair jig, both tipped with Gulp Maggots.
