    Default Lake Perris CA

Making plans now for the long trip to Lake Perris CA this spring or early summer to catch some big Coppernose.

If anyone wants to meet me there, I'm sure it will be worth your effort.

I'm sure we have about the same size coppernose here in BAMA... a few trips will tell.

Sure thing! I looking forward to experiencing all the great fishing I've been hearing about there

Hey LedHed.... is the water too rough to use a fishing kayak on LP?

I sure hate to drag my boat 2000 miles, and back.

Kayak is great - lots of launching areas - float tube is great too.
My boat in the marina is whole lot easier...…

Is there a launching fee for kayaks and float tubes?

State park web site says "(canoes, kayaks, etc. are not charged)". There is a $10 parking fee and an $8 boat launch fee. I keep my boat in the marina (no launch fee) and can sleep on it too (no camping fee). I get an annual senior pass ($20) - saves a lot! Went to the lake over 50 times last year = $500 plus.
