White bass are a blast to catch. I like them grilled or baked. How long is that one in the picture? It looks like a hoss. Which model Majorcraft rod do you have

Congrats! Not a trash fish to me. Being an avid UL angler I just want something to give me a ton of fun on my UL gear......they sure fit that bill. It’s killing me to have to stay home with them being stacked right now below Nickajack Dam. But this sinus has got me down.

    Regards

Nice mess of fish! I agree and why I consider myself a multi species UL angler as what I like to do.
I use to mainly bass fish but after years it got so boring using broomstick poles, winch size fishing lines and skiing the hooked fish across the top of the water back to the boat.

Now with UL gear, small baits and the waters I mainly fish now you are liable to hook a gill, redear, rock bass, small mouth, channel cat or even a chain pickerel on a rare occasion and as long as the fish generally are 12 oz- 2 1/2 lbs or less the gear and the fun of getting them landed is immense.

Also some of the places I fish now and the species I am targeting get less fishing pressure than the more sought after species and sizes. My goal for fishing is to get out, enjoy the experience and have fun catching fish. I always enjoy going, the having fun catching fish works better on some trips than others!
