    Hi all,
    New to posting here but thought I'd share a little. The rods I've been using lately are daiwa bass x ultra light and daiwa trout x ultra light. The bass x 6 feet long are rated 1 to 4 lb test, the trout x is 5'5 and rated 2 to 6 lb test. The can be had for less than $100 and are really nice rods for the price. If you're looking to get a taste of what is offered overseas these would be a good jumping off point.

    The Bass X Model is x 602 uls
    The Trout X Model is x 55 ul

    The reels on the bass X are Daiwa Legalis 1000
    The reel on the trout X is an older Daiwa Legalis 1500
