The 1000 is what I want but it's out of stock every where except eBay...

I like it. It's smooth, I have it paired with the graphiteleader corto so it really lite.
If you cast it they will come.

Finally showed up after about a month. Initial impression, seems to be a quality reel. 148 grams on my scale. It's smooth, there is a small amount of play in the reel. Bail feels fragile. Low inertia? I guess so. I don't think I'd notice the difference actually fishing with it, we'll see. Rotating this reel rapidly without line on it provides a fair amount of vibration, much like my tatulas. The luvias vibrates less. Luvias has less play in the handle I believe. Is it worth the price? Remains to be seen.

Thanks for the review. Keep us updated after you use it a bit. I was looking at that model as well and now I think I will wait a bit.

Thanks a lot for the comments, I am very curious about this reel myself. Please post as you learn more.

P.S. This was FedEx, right? Did they stick you with handling charges etc.?
