Ordered me another 2003f-h JDM Daiwa Exist today. I have only used the one I have once trout fishing but it was so smooth I decided to order another one. Also ordered a few ultra light poppers. This JDM stuff is addicting!

Yes it is addicting. I’ve been catching 10-12 inch large mouth the last couple of days using the Presso Limited. I can’t even begin to describe what it is like to use that reel. I love the Luvias and I’m sure I’ll buy more of them when they revamp it probably next year. Have always wanted an Exist and I’m sure one day I’ll get one. Owning a Presso Limited.....an Exist....Vanquish....a Stella....is in all likelihood not going to cause us to catch more fish....but using one of those it just feels like when you turn the handle it is all just floating on air. As smooth as the Luvias is turning the handle on the Presso Limited is just pure joy. It also pairs on area trout rods extremely well....especially the super UL and XUL.

    Regards

From where? Please post pics. They're not easy to find here in the US.

These are just 1 1/2” ultra light rapala poppers I found on tackle warehouse... nothing fancy... my favorite popper for the river used to be a storm hopper popper which is also 1 1/2”... I know this is going to seem odd but I don’t prefer my poppers to majorly disrupt the water... I prefer them to just kind of barely spit the water... I have caught some nice smallies on the storm hopper popper as well as some pretty redbreast... not sure about these rapalas but I did like the 1 1/2” size... I did find some from Japan on Plat or Digitaka that looked nice but never pulled the trigger on them... can’t even remember the brand
