    What a day to forget the camera - of course - had to use the cell phone. Got up to 103 today but was long gone before that. Left when the lake lice started to buzz. It was crazy this morning - couldn't move down to where the big fish were because big fish wouldn't let me.

    Do you leave biting fish to find bigger fish? I do - my fishing window is small.

    Still using JDM rods with Smoke or Stradic reels loaded with 2lb izorline or 2lb hybrid. Chub jigs were 1/48th & 1/32nd (bellyspinner style & plain)- did fish a 1/24th for a little while. Was tipping with crickets & mealworms.

    Camera or no, those are nice. I’m looking for some cooler weather here so I can get out when the river drops some more. My UL stuff has been screaming at me for a while.

    That female in the second pic is a pie plate, no wait, a cake platter, or frisbee with fins!! I can imagine the Crazy Ivan she pulled when you got her to the surface.

    Forgot to mention that these fish were suspended in 33 to 27 FOW.
    Stan - they put a big bend in the rod, for sure.
