    Sooo busted - was supposed to be checking if Noel gassed up the boat. He did. Had to try out the gas to make sure it was right... Don't know how the gear got on the boat... And I heard they didn't even have crickets at the bait store.

    That Bluegill is UNREAL. Are you sure there are not steroids in the water out there? The SNL skit of “We are going to Pump You Up” comes to mind. I looked up the CA state record and it is almost 4 pounds, just crazy!! I really hope you catch the next record in that lake and post it here first.
