Default Been off the pond for a bit - LP 08 15 18

Hard to get out between the heat and my arm. Got referred to a surgeon yesterday for my arm. Will be off the lake for a bout 2 months - of course it has to be during prime time for the BGs.
Did some deep water trolling for one fish...

Went 17 to 9 FOW and found pre spawnners. Aji rod and 2lb test. Bigger fish wanted the glo green Auto. Olive and regular green caught smaller fish??????? Autos were tyed on a 1/32nd roundhead, #6 lil Nasty BLN hook.

Nice gills as usual. The variations in color this time of year is interesting. I am going to try some fall gill fishing this year, hope you recover quickly.

Nice fish Sonny. Shoot me a PM or call whenever you want to co-miserate about our recoveries. It will be a lot better when it's all in the rear view. Chin up Brother.
