Default Cordell Hull Lake scouting trip.

Tried out Cordell Hull. Will try it again come spring but not that impressed. It’s a beautiful place but I’m afraid it being a riverine type lake the bluegill just aren’t going to be that big...plenty of them though. Had it not been for the XUL rod I would not have had near the fun I did. Hope you all enjoy.

    Regards

Looks like fun to me. The Spring bite could be great on that lake. If it is close by then I would definitely return and fish for the big boys.

Wife and I were park attendants at Salt Lick Campground for a couple of years. Never figured out the crappie. Some Sauger in the lake too.
    Nice White Bass also.

Good video, Randy! I haven't bought any JDM gear since I attempted to purchase a rod from a scam website. I'll wait until winter and then I'm going to attempt to purchase a nice rod. Thanks for the information!
