Size: 146.0 KBI went out to the lake this morning for a few hours hunting blue gill and wasn't disappointed. Got into the big copper nose in shallow water with the ultra light tackle, 2lb. Izor line with 1/32nd. oz home made road runners. All my fish were over 11 inches and fought like little freight trains.

Size: 95.5 KBI can honestly say we don't catch many coppernose or red ear and blue gills that are much smaller than 11 inches. Lake Perris is truly a trophy pan fish lake. Allot of the locals here think all lakes have fish like this because they don't know any better. I herd a long time ago on the In Fisherman program that Lake Perris was one of the best pan fish lakes in the U.S., I believe them now that I am chasing them on a regular basis.

Good catch and post. I agree ounce for ounce they fight like almost like an amber jack.

    Nice

Rock Climber's cove was a bust - banged up my trolling motor. Think your buddies were talking about Bernasconi beach...
