I like all the colors, it just depends on water clarity. If it's clear I'll use rootbeer and the solid gold. Darker I like bison and catalpa. I really like the jig head designs too. They spiral down when you let them free fall.

I love bison and mealworm. This past spring I killed'em on a green with red glitter on a jig I palmer a olive hackle around. All the panfish colors work pretty good. I just gave a panfish kit away on a bream group on Facebook. They are only 10 bucks at BPS.
My son went over to a friend's pond and brought the rod I had rigged up a bison Trout Magnet on and out fished his two buddies during the hour of daylight they had by a 2 - 1 margin. He caught 4 bass and 8 bream to their 6 bass. Had to dig out the rest of the pack and jig heads from the bream box this morning so he and his friends can share next trip. Last time I fished one I had a ball trying to pull in 3 lb. bass on my daughter's pink Okuma light-action rod with 4 lb. test mono. Also caught a few smaller bass and an assortment of bream. The magnets do seem to always be productive whereas other jigs I try go hot and cold.
The Trout Magnets truly rock. I started using them last season after reading Alphahawk’s recommendations, and had immediate success. Bison is very good, and I got a variety of other colors to try this year. I also bought the trout Slayer Mini craws to try. They (trout magnets) really don’t look like much, they just flat out work. I do think the 1/64 jigs help as well.
