    Default Lake Havasu Readear Guide

I am trying to find a reputable redear guide for Lake Havasu. I was told of a guide by the name of Chris Blythe but after repeated unanswered phone calls and messages left with no reply I am through trying to give him my business. I would appreciate any info anyone can provide on a good guide. Thanks in advance.

I stopped at this store and asked them about RE guides. They told me there were 1 or 2 bass guides that would take people out for the REs.

They have mounts of the last 2 world records.

We are planning on fishing LH this spring - southern part of the lake.

They are the ones that gave me the name I tried to contact. I will give them another call. They were very nice people.

Don't really think you need a guide. If you stay at Havasu city you can rent boat/pontoon there. Lots of fishing around that area - where the world records are coming from. They do more bed fishing up there. Water is super clear. You can camp on the lake also.
We fish down south - not a lot of reed fishing like up north.
Them guys at the store are very friendly - they'd rather be bass fishing....
We'll probably start going in March - you have to watch the wind and the heat.

I hope you get out and fish Havasu Mike, definitely worth it for a chance at a monster redear. I certainly had a blast on my trip there. Guys I fished with aren't guides but should be with their knowledge of gills and redear.

Trying to get things together for 7 - 10 days in April. Got a buddy coming out from Florida who wants to fish it too.
