Holy cow!! BUCKET LIST
Not sure if this will work but this is a link to a fishing vid from Lake Havasu.
The fish that are dark are males spawning - surprised the guide didn't know that.
These guys are bed fishing - we fish the transition areas - and we fish at the southern side of the lake (they are North west). World records come from up there.

Holy cow!! BUCKET LIST
Keep on keepin on!!!
The bright side of AIS instead of Doom & Gloom.
some are a hybrid cross - didn't see any northern BG
We have seen some on the south side but they are small
the snails might be food for the small fish and crawdads - the real big ones are eating crawdads

I had the great fortune of fishing there with Sonny and Keith for redear and it certainly was worth the trip. Monsters swim in that lake. Hope to fish there again sometime.

LOL...yeah definitely some nice (Shellcrackers/Redears)
Boy, that video is something else. I'm kind of surprised they did as well as they did because that guy was loud as heck. Oh, it's redear or shellcracker, not bluegill. The dark ones are the males, they color up for mating season. The big boss redear here on Ky Lake and Lake Barkley become very dark and their ear flap will become a cherry red during mating season.
