2 questions (at least 2). The jigs look very good, but don't recognize the deer hair, what kind is it? The cooked fish looks wonderful, I would like to cook some that looks that good. The fish appears whole. I assume you descaled and gutted them, and cut off the heads. Did you remove the bones or do they desinegrate (spelling)when frying? Did you fry in deep fryer or pan with oil? And lastly what kind of bread crumbs? Thanks, Pop

Hair is off the center strip from a mature whitetail bucks back I like it cause it is always darker.
Fish are deep fried whole in canola oil. and I use only martha white yellow cornmeal mix and salt.
The ribs and center bone are still there . Very easy to eat around.
I dont scale I always skin them. I prefer them on the bone VS fillet. ( Just the opposite of how I like crappie)
I had some guys on another forum ask how I skinned them so I did a you tube video.
The way I make the last cut thins the ribs ( so they fry up crispy enough to eat kinda like the tail)
I had been skinning a horrid amount of fish when I done the video so I used glove cause my hand was so sore. without glove I can do it in just under a minute.

Thanks Bowmender. I like both the ties and the results. You say a piece of rubber worm. Do you mean a gulp worm or just a small plastic? You obviously know more of this than I do.

I use 4 inch a senco, slice it like a cucumber ,lol 1/16-1/8 slices run point of hook thru the center (flat ways)
up past the curve of the hook.
this makes the little jigs wiggle and the senco is flavored.
It lasts longer than a power bait.
sometimes you can catch 8-12 fish before loosing the piece of worm.
