    Thnx for the comments guys
Probably going out tomorrow - will take some pics of the jigs. Google "chub belly spin" for tutorial.
Ketchn - Really like the fight and I'm trying to formulate patterns to catch them. I think they might be crossed - haven't caught any females... These are very nice fish - the whales are at Lake Havasu.

on ultra or just light tackle those are some great fights! WTG and I catch a lot of big BG's but not quite that big. Great day and heading to CA soon, where were you fishing? Our kid who lives there rarely go outside, so need some recreation to wake us up

I don't know what to say. Those are some really good fish. I've gotten some good ones over the years but these pics of yours make me want to travel west. Again. But just to fish this time. Maybe shoot some dove close to the border. has to be an absolute blast. Thanks for the pics, regardless.

Nice fish for sure. What is that spinner you were using, it sure was the ticket. Congrats on a fine catch.

    Thnx again guys
hh - I fish, when I can, at Lake Perris - real close to Riverside (SoCal). There a few lakes around here that have good panfishing...
sb - If you want trophies RE (my biggest is 3lb.9oz.) & BGs I would go to Lake Havasu. If you want big Coppernose, probably a SoCal lake.... I like to fish for BGs in the fall - seems like the larger ones show up.
I'm interested in how the GS taste Dolfly - never tried one.
