I do. Did yesterday. Put 25 in the box. Just outside their beds with a jig waxworm combo under a small bobber.

I fish for them year round and actually prefer post-spawn. You have them all to yourself!

On my last two trips, I had just under 100 gills and shellcrackers. Got almost all on a red trout magnet. Tipping with a waxworm was more productive.

Bream spawn several times during the summer, at least here they do. We stumbled on beds in August.

Once they move to deeper water humps and rock piles I get them trolling cranks or drop shotting.

Tried trout magnets Wednesday. They wouldn't touch them here. Had to add a waxworm to get a bite. BG itty bits outfished them tremendously. I tried 2# test too. Only had the white ones.

Chaunc, did you say that you used white swimmers? I have several colors but no time to get after em. My 2lb and 1/64 with a swimmer has done well until 2 weeks back for crappie, so now I got to figure out the 'gills.
