    Default Ultralight Spinning Rods

I read the sticky on panfish rods and bluegill rods...

Looking for a fine bluegill spinning rod for 2# line. I've used 4# line for 55-years and now want to downsize and try out a 2# rig for a change (no noodle rods). What do you like? Thanks

Read my post on JDM rods relating to panfish and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Lot of info in that post.

I'm liking the St Croix Avid rods with lifetime warranty, made in USA.

I don't see any JDM rods on ebay.

The ones I like are the
St Croix Panfish Series , anf their Trout Series . A little over $100 for most models , I like the six footers .
Also I just recently bought and fished the Daiwa Procyon 6' in UL , and the 6' Daiwa Presso , the two piece . These are around $60 on EBay . Nice rods
I can cast a 1/64 jig and Trout Magnet about 50-60' with these and 2# line .
When I use a weighted float and jig I sometimes move up to the 7' models and 4# line . The 6'9" SC Panfish is nice and would work good for both ways . Gillchaser

Search for "aijing" or "mebaru", and you'll find them.

Here's you one . Out of my price range , but I bet it'd be an awesome Rod . This is an American dealer who is starting to import some rods from Japan . Gillchaser

I was referring to the Daiwa Presso rods , he's added some more since the last time we checked . I like the four piece Daiwa.
