Default Using a disgorger for deep-hooked fish

I have been using disgorgers for years. They are much better than hemostats or pliers for unhooking fish. This video is an excellent demo on how to use one.

I've used the larger bulb ended disgorgers on larger fish with OK results.I switched to hemostates for larger fish, but they are limited to the size of the fish. Thanks for the video,I need to find the smaller style for pannies

These were different than the last ones I ordered. I didn't want to post the link until I had a chance to see them.

Default Using a disgorger for deep-hooked fish

I know this is an old post but I found it when I did a search on disgorgers. Does this type of disgorger work well with small jigs also. I see it works great for bare hooks. I have some pretty cool dehookers for flyfishing but they are too small to work in 1/64 - 1/16 oz jigs. Thanks.
