Nice first post! Is that the 6’7” slow taper? What reel do you have paired with it? I know out in Cali mini tubes are popular for the trout. What kind are you throwing? Sorry lots of questions haha... welcome
Hey randy yeah its me David torres. I decided to join and share my collection of JDM ultra lights.
vaCrappieman yes it was the 6'7 slow taper special and i had it paired with a 18 daiwa caldia 2000 model. the trout really love them here in the kings river. i drift them in slow flowing current and bottom bounce them and i aslo order them on ebay 1.5 inch crappie tubes bunch of colors to choose. Southern pro is one brand i like to use. Its all good and thank you. Sadly i broke this rod and my YB blue current tz nano 7'1 yesterday not on fish though. I will be ordering another soon the 7'3 slow taper special.

Received the 67 abu slow taper special via DHL today. Rigged up and ready to go... beautiful build. My Varivas order should be here tomorrow. My first run @ ester a fluro shock tippet. Been using SOS 2lb for a while on my Tict RF and am looking forward to trying the ester. 2 very different rods.
