    Default JDM Sub-forum?

In the past, I have resisted this idea. I thought the JDM tackle discussions fit perfectly with bream fishing and wanted to keep them together.

I've changed my mind. There are a bunch of sub-forums on this site that get little or no traffic. If they get their own sub-forum, why not JDM?

    Who's with me?

OK, I'll bite, I hope I don't regret it, particularly when it an idea from DBD! How many folks would like a separate subforum for this JDM thing? You're welcome to post here, or PM me too.

Here's my answer. Replace "toga" with "JDM".

YES. For context, these three threads about JDM UL tackle have been a one-of-a-kind resource for those interested and looking for info in English. This is coming from someone who's done quite a bit of research on the subject in several languages over the past few months. After you do a few relevant searches in Google, you quickly realize that many roads lead here...

Crappie.com is a great website and I was a member before I went down this JDM road... the thread under review was a wealth of knowledge and helped me a lot in regards to new reel decisions... I didn’t have a problem with the way it was but whatever keeps it to where we have access to those 3 threads... lots of great info in those 3 threads

    Default JDM Sub-forum?

    I’m on board with either.

I was perfectly happy with the way it was, but not opposed to a sub forum

Will it help in keeping the riff-raff out?

I saw nothing wrong with those three threads being kept together at the top, and thought panfishing was the right place for them. They are one of the first threads I look for when I’m on the site. I did wind up buying a JDM rod and the rod thread is where I got my decision information, and it was good info. My equipment is by no means exclusively JDM. This is a growing area of interest.

OK, I see why slab had to close it. Necessary and certainly very reasonable. A part two for these areas can easily be started and keep the info flowing.
