Thank you for pinning this to the top. I'm in the process of deciding which one to buy for these redear on Lake Barkley. I tried in vain to purchase a JDM Major Craft Trapara and it was a scam website...lesson learned.

That said, I'm very interested in trying out these products precisely because of their sensitivity. I appreciate the reviews, personal accounts, and any other knowledge Randy and Sonny can share!

FWIW, I ordered mine from JP Angler, one of the sites mentioned in the OP. I ordered on Sunday, and the rod was delivered on Friday.

Plat.......Digitaka.......and JP Angler are all great sites. If someone wants a rod they don’t have listed on those sites they most likely can get it for you. Send them an email.....they will answer your questions in English.

    Regards

Enjoyed your review. What reel did you use or recommend for this specific rod? Thanks

Thanks much for watching. I have a Daiwa Luvias 2004 reel on that rod currently. It balances and works very well. However I am getting a Daiwa Luvias 1003.....it is a bit smaller reel.

I think Digitaka just put those reels on sale. I have a buddy who likes the Shimano Stradic Ci+4 reels. The JDM models seem to be a little different, the spools are shallower seems like, I guess this aids in casting distance?

The Stradic is a work horse reel. Used the saltwater version 1st (years ago) - now I use the UL version.
