Yes it is a fast rod but you would be surprised how much flex it has. I guess it has to do with the blank and the Nano resin. It is a great rod!

    Thanks
When you were ordering the rod, was it advertised as "EMS shipping free" in the description or "DHL free shipping"?

If you can read in Russian, here is over hundred pages of information on Yamaga Blanks rods:

Many models are being discussed, but lots of jargon, so Google translate can't keep up sometimes.

That is a great question. I went back and looked at the rod that is no longer in stock. It does say EMS free shipping. The only thing I can figure maybe the shipping to the USA is getting a little harder. But you would think they would inform you of that. I ordered a a Tict ICe Cube 69 power rod.

    Thanks

Thanks, this is useful to know. Looks like Digitaka may be going the PLAT way and is switching to DHL. I only wish they have informed the customers, just like PLAT has done.

I bought a YB TZ 71/Nano a couple months ago. Currently waiting on a Daiwa 20 Luvias on back order to pair up with it. Going to be my main 4lb nylon jig rig for stream trout.

Its a fast rod as previously stated and I was surprised how easy it bends with 12"-14" trout but after watching Yamaga Blank's videos its quite apparent they was designed this way. And it is light as a feather for a 7' 1" rod.

The Blue Current III is YB's new lower light game series and here is one of the their latest videos on the 5'3 model. YB Ajing rods make great trout rods as shown in this video:

Note: "Yamame" are a type of small land locked salmon found in Japan though they look more like a trout to me.

Here is some useful info on customs duties on internet purchases:

Internet Purchases | U.S. Customs and Border Protection

It appears you may not get hit by customs duties on purchases below $800, but you will likely get hit by customs broker fees (i.e., handling fees) if you're using a currier service, i.e. DHL, UPS, etc, as Alphahawk mentioned before.

Never seen one....but it has great specs at the price point. Sic-S guides in Fuji stainless frames. The 69 model weighs in at 66 grams. Just keep in mind it is no Blue Current TZ......Blue Current III blanks are 91 percent graphite.....the TZ models are over 99 percent graphite.

    Regards
